Former Friends star and current star of Mr Sunshine; Matthew Perry has revealed that he misses the cult TV show Lost and since it finished last year he doesn’t know what to do with himself.
During an appearance on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, Perry revealed…
“I miss it. I was just about to say I’m lost without it! I really don’t know what to do with myself now that it’s not on. That was my favourite thing in the history of entertainment.”
He then shared a funny incident that happened between himself and Hugo from Lost, who co-stars on his Mr. Sunshine show…
“I was on a show that he saw, and he was on a show that I saw so there was a mutual respect. We didn’t really talk about it. It was just, ‘Nice to meet you… You’ll stand here’. But in the third episode he did something that was really funny and I said, ‘That was really funny dude!’ I realised I’d done his catchphrase to him and was like, ‘Oh God, I’m so sorry!’”
‘Lost’ actors show off art to raise funds for theater

A gallery of donated artwork by “Lost” actors, representing their time here over six seasons filming the hit ABC series, will be exhibited for the first time at a Honolulu Theatre for Youth fundraising kickoff party from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Tenney Theatre.
The works, commissioned by HTY trustee Annie Cusick Wood (spouse of “Lost” actor Ian Cusick, who played Desmond), eventually will be auctioned but will highlight the HTY’s Actors & Artists Fund-Launching event.
The actors/artists include Terry O’Quinn (John Locke), who fashioned a bracelet from shells he collected on the North Shore; Ken Leung (Miles), who did a sketch of actress Evangeline Lilly (Kate); Jorge Garcia (Hurley), who rendered a painting of himself dive-bombing into the water (with butt crack showing!); and Josh Holloway (Sawyer), who did a watercolor painting of himself fishing on a boat.
Additionally, Michael Emerson (Ben), a former graphic artist, donated a work he did a while back. …
Community notables, such as Daniel Dae Kim, who played Jin on “Lost” and stars as Chin Ho Kelly on CBS’s “Hawaii Five-0″, Kirk Matthews and Trini Kaopuiki of KHON2 and ex-anchor Linda Coble (aka Mrs. Matthews) will read snippets from three future HTY shows (“Lion Dancer,” “Tasi’s Gift” and “Poetry Fever”) at 6 p.m. Hosted pupu and drinks will begin at 5:30 p.m. To secure space, call Carolyn at 839-9885, ext. 711.
Jorge Garcia Comments On “LOST” Lottery Numbers

A number of individuals played “LOST” character Hurley’s lottery numbers during the most recent MegaMillions game and four out of the six numbers were the same – leading the individuals to win $150 each. However, in ABC’s hit show “LOST” the numbers were evil, and caused a lot of bad things to happen to Hurley and those around him.
Actor Jorge Garcia, who played Hurley, took to his own blog to comment on the lottery numbers.

Perry teases Jorge Garcia ‘Sunshine’ role

Mr. Sunshine star Matthew Perry has revealed more details about Jorge Garcia’s role on the show.
It was announced in September that the former Lost star will appear in an episode of the new ABC sitcom, which is set in a sports arena.
“Jorge plays a really funny part,” Perry told Entertainment Weekly. “He’s one of the workers at the arena who has to answer to Ben, my character, but you can tell he’s a little smarter than I am.”
Perry admitted that he was hoping to bring Garcia’s character back in future episodes.
“I don’t think a lot of people realise how dry and funny Jorge can be,” he said. “He’s done three episodes for us and we hope to have him back, because I love [Lost] and I love him.”
The former Friends actor, who also writes and executive produces the series, added that performing multiple roles was “pretty exhausting”.
“I’m proud of the show,” he insisted. “I think we did a really good job of making it funny and introducing some great characters.”
Mr. Sunshine premieres on February 9 at 9.30/8.30c on ABC.
